How It Works
Gravity-fed entry: Wastewater enters the tank, where heavier solids sink to form sludge, and lighter materials float to form scum.
Effluent separation: A specially designed dip pipe ensures that only the liquid effluent exits, minimizing scum carryover.
Percolation discharge: The clarified effluent is discharged into a soakaway or drainage field for final treatment.
Accessories & Installation Flexibility
Risers: Optional and sold separately to adapt to deeper inlet/outlet invert requirements. Each riser adds 180 mm, with a maximum of three risers (540 mm).
Distribution Box: Recommended accessory to evenly distribute effluent into soakaway discharge points, improving system performance
Simplified installation: Lightweight HDPE construction enables installation with minimal equipment (even small excavators), and supports granular backfill, reducing costs and complexity
Maintenance and Servicing
Annual desludging is recommended to prevent sludge build-up that could block the outlet or soakaway system.
Monthly checks: Inspect the outlet and vents to ensure effluent clarity and proper flow, and clear any grass or debris obstructing ventilation.
