Downpipe Filter and Connector Kit
The filter collector is a high quality downpipe filter that is simple to install into your existing downpipe.
DO IT YOURSELF INSTALLATION. Features an automatic overflow and removable filter and is very easy to install on UK size drain pipes. This filter is easy to install and maintain. Use this filter when debris and overflow water will exit down drainpipe – eg roof under trees. It is adaptable to nearly all downpipes.
Rainwater flows from the filter entrance into the filter cartridge where debris is forced to the sides and on down the drainpipe. Filtered water flows out of cartridge to tank inlet. Flow settings for either summer or winter. Removable cartridge for cleaning. Downpipe filter in situ
Fits typical UK plastic or iron downpipes :
- Round Downpipe : 68mm – 100mm
- Square Downpipe : 65mm – 75mm
For roof areas up to 90 m sq and helps eliminate sludge in storage tanks joints so watering cans and sprinkler nozzles will not clog and there is less likelihood of odour.
The connector kit to connect a down pipe collector filter with a Wall tank or Water Butt. The pipe is 1 m long x internal diameter 32mm (1¼ inches) this flexible pipe will connect the filter to a hole cut in the tank.
The required tank hole cutter ( drill bit ) is supplied with the connector kit.
